GRADUATION IN BOISE

Taylor's graduation

We headed out to Boise in May for my cousin's graduation. We had a blast being with family and getting out of town. Graduation was fairly large and it was awesome to see my cousin move on to a new chapter in her life.
Taylor at graduation- not the best picture, but she was on the move.
We had fun going to eat out at a local chinese buffet and visiting a local park. We saw a bunch of baby ducklings and goslings. We fed them with dollar bread that was a dollar for a good reason, but they weren't too picky. A little greedy in fact. Some of the mother geese were hissing at the others and at us for getting too close to their food.

IDAHO FALLS

Fourth of July-

For the 4th we decided to stick around the area because most family had other plans and we felt like we couldn't go too far with the gas money that we had. We headed out early-ish in the morning to get a good spot on the hill for the fireworks. After wandering for a while we met up with some friends, the Carters to go to a baseball game and watch the fireworks.
Yes. Personel pizza. Only place in the world where you can get that.

I totally snagged this out of the air at the baseball game.
We went to a Chukars game. We ate good fries and some other overpriced food including hot dogs of course. We sat and talked and had a good time with our friends. The chukars won by a long shot and I got a crackerjack package and a free burger from Carl's Jr. It was a good time.

Tautphus zoo-

We were tired of the grueling last weeks of school and needed an escape. Well, we settled on Idaho falls zoo. We got to see a few babies and some other interesting little animals. It satisfied my nerdy biology side and we got out and had something else to do other than homework and studying.
